Private parties.

These are private events such as baptisms, confirmations, weddings, birthdays, graduation parties and other similar celebrations, when they are held away from home and organized by private individuals for invited guests only.

In addition to the copyright fee, if the music is not performed live but played from recordings, an additional fee must be considered for the related rights of phonogram producers and associated rights holders.

Recorded music means music played through playback devices, as well as music played through the work of a disc jockey.

For performances by live musicians and singers, by contrast, only copyright fees are due; this can mean a meaningful saving for organizers.

To use the service, it is possible to request a permit online for free-admission events and make the related payment; the applicant must be of legal age and act as an occasional organizer of private events.
